For the first time since 2013, we may not be able to flag veteran graves for Memorial Day this weekend. We have been working hard all spring to cut the grass, but this time of year it grows too fast. There are too many sections where the grass is over a foot tall.

We have a clean up day scheduled for Saturday, May 28th 10-1 and Sunday, May 29th 10-1. We are committed to being there both days but we need you. Without help from the community, we won’t be able to honor our veterans. It breaks our hearts but it’s the reality.

If everyone shows up to work with us, we will flag at 1pm on Sunday. If not, we will not be able to flag as the veteran stones will not be visible.
